At the beginning of the war on Gaza, after October 7, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the “Hamas” movement is equal to ISIS and must be eliminated, destroyed, and dealt with just as Israel dealt with the “Amaleks” in the Bible. After the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced that it included Israel on the blacklist for killing children and civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, it joined Boko Haram, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS. This placed Netanyahu, his army, and his entity on an equal footing with ISIS. Israelis around the world and travellers have reached the point of concealing their Israeli identity in many cases due to their fear of reactions to the crimes and murders that Israel has committed against the Palestinian people. Israeli soldiers did not hesitate to film themselves committing these acts and publish them on social media to show the world the unprecedented level of brutality they were committing without hesitation or fear, thanks to the American protection and umbrella that gave them international cover to escape punishment.
The results of eight months of comprehensive war on Gaza and the beginning of the ninth month—which is the longest war known to the Zionist entity since its establishment—revealed that Israel has become a rogue state and a criminal entity. It failed militarily because one of the most powerful armies in the world could not eliminate a small, besieged organisation with very modest military capabilities compared to other organisations. Israel possesses the latest aircraft, armoured vehicles, tanks, artillery, drones, electronic military devices, and large precision munitions. Despite this, the leader of the “Beytenu” party and former Israeli minister, Avigdor Lieberman, stated that Israel “obtained absolute shame instead of absolute victory after eight months of war,” contradicting Netanyahu’s slogan of a war aimed at absolute victory.
Israel failed to recover most of the prisoners—freeing with the help of US forces only four and killing at least 3 of his own captives while 120 remained behind—and killed 210 Palestinian civilians in the operation. Despite imposing complete military control over the Gaza Strip, Israel found itself increasingly isolated on the global stage, with 148 countries recognising Palestine as a state. Furthermore, the United Nations and the International Criminal Court (ICC) have called for a ceasefire in Gaza. The ICC has placed Netanyahu and his Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, on the wanted list, and the International Court of Justice is investigating accusations of genocide committed by Israel.
